- Each country which is subject to the same delivery tariffs has been placed into a group which is called a delivery zone. There are four different zones: Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3 and Zone 4
- We add each of the following weights to our shipping plan: 0.5Kg, 1Kg, 2Kg, 5Kg, 10Kg, 20Kg, and 31.5Kg
- For each of the distinct weights we added to the shipping plan, we define a cost for each of our zones. Orders with a weight value between any of these defined weights will be calculated using the next defined shipping plan weight greater than the order weight.
- To the 31.5Kg weight, we add an additional weight increment of 0.5kg and define a cost for this additional weight for each of our zones. Then, for every 0.5Kg above this base weight of 31.5Kg, we would add on the additional weight cost to the base weight. Say an order has a total weight of 33.5Kg, the order delivery cost would be calculated at the:
(Cost of the 31.5Kg Weight for Zone) + (4 x Cost of 0.5Kg Additional Weight Increment for Zone)
