We have successfully moved the ShopIntegrator ecommerce service over to operate in a Cloud computing environment.
Cloud computing delivers a hosting environment that doesn't limit our ecommerce service to a specific set of resources. This in turn gives us a highly resilient fault tolerant infrastructure, allowing us to quickly scale our ecommerce service to make resources available as they're needed without worrying about buying new hardware to meet increasing traffic demands.
